"Diet", Weight Loss, Healthy Eating, and a Gastroenterologist's Choice
Updated: Oct 4, 2020

It took me many years in clinical practice as a Gastroenterologist to find the right diet.
I shifted my diet and eating back in October 2018. There has been some flexibility since, but overall my eating patterns, choices, and diet have changed.
I thought I was eating healthy, but piling on dried fruits, nuts, and hummus did not constitute a balanced portion control of carbs, protein, greens, and fats.
I lost 15 pounds in 3 months. Decreased ~5% body fat. I changed my approach to eating and portion control. I saw a shift in my life on many levels.
Why I am sharing this with you?
Because everyone needs accountability. Everyone needs a "reset" at some point. For me, it was "resetting" what I saw as eating a "healthy" diet. Portion control and choices were a big part of it.
What is the diet?
One based on simple, healthy choices, and easy to prepare meals.
Not a starvation diet, but an entire lifestyle change.
